Updated weekly, we feature author and musician interviews, album and book reviews, music videos, movie reviews and interviews, book excerpts, surveys, polls, and fun contests.
Our Goal:

Karri
Compton,
wife and mother of three, devours Christian fiction whenever possible. Her favorite
genre is suspense/thriller, especially Ted Dekker novels. Since promoting biblical
worldview fiction is dear to her heart, she reviews on her blog, Fiction

Only! and is a staff reviewer and interviewer for such sites as The Christian
Suspense Zone. Her latest published work appears in Peculiar People's novel collaboration,

Darlington's

Writers Guild's Operation

Bert Gangl was formally introduced to the wonderful world of Christian music
by his baby brother as the two were winding their way through Western Tennessee
in the family automobile. Ever intent on proving that not all Christian artists
were knock-offs of their mainstream counterparts, the younger Gangl duly inserted
his newly-purchased copy of White Heart's Freedom into the waiting car tape player
and the rest, as they say, is history. In the twenty years that have transpired
since that time, Bert has amassed a sizeable CCM album collection of his own
and has gone on to write reviews for a range of music-related sites including
ChristRock , The Phantom Tollbooth, inReview and The All-Music Guide. He currently
resides in Huntsville, Alabama, with his wife and daughter.
April W
Gardner writes adult and middle grade historical fiction. Her first novel,

Darcie Gudger is a freelance writer currently working on a young adult novel while trying to solve all the mysteries of motherhood with her adopted son, Kyle. In her spare time, she coaches the 2A Colorado State Champion Sheridan High School colorguard, judged equipment for the Rocky Mountain Colorguard Association and sings for the Bear Valley church choir and worship team. of the past 17 years he has taught English in Japan. He has taught at the university

Carol Kurtz Darlington is a certified personal trainer and a certified group fitness instructor who works with active older adults, people who want to lose weight, and people who just want to enjoy better health. She enjoys empowering and encouraging others to reach their health and fitness goals, feel better about themselves in the process, and enjoy more energy to stay active in all areas of their lives as a result. Dale Lewis is the graphic designer/pre-press production artist at the EFCA (The Evangelical Free Church of America) National Office in Minneapolis, MN. Prior to that, he was the publications manager at his alma mater, Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN in the public relations office as well as the adviser to the college’s yearbook. He's directed the Hope Church (Oakdale, MN) adult drama worship team and was the senior editor of the church newsletter. He's also written two collections of poetry, “Whispers of Assurance” and “On Life: Constant Communion Without Ceasing” as well as a devotional entitled “Eternal Education.” He and his family live in Oakdale, Minnesota.
Susan Lloyd is
a professional photographer in Charleston, South Carolina who specializes in
shooting concerts. She holds a degree in Music Education and has worked as a
worship leader and as a youth minister. She is passionate about all types of
music and enjoys encouraging and supporting bands who seek to glorify God. She

Melissa Lockcuff: Mel is a homeschooling mom who never tires of reading with her two adventurous little boys. After working as a nurse and a teacher, she realized where her personal priorities truly lay, and she made the decision to stay home with her boys. Mel has since found a true passion for writing. Right now, she writes articles and short pieces, and she is also learning how to write literature for children. Adrian B. Martinez: "Music and Movies, Movies and Music, always the twain shall meet" is Adrian B. Martinez's motto; a displaced New Yorker living in Connecticut. A complete Movie nut, Adrian was responsible for writing movie synopsis' for Loews Movie Theater's for over 5 years. At any given time that would be a synopsis for over 25 movies in one week. Whew! Nowadays, she is a regular in the Press area for the Creation Festival and Purple Door Festival. To keep her in the lifestyle she has become accustomed, she does web-design for DelMonico Hatter in New Haven, Ct. and serves as a Supervisor for the Hartford Civic Center, also in Ct. An avid traveler, Adrian has been to Europe numerous times and can be seen criss-crossing the United States in her re-furbished 1974 Orange Volkswagen Vanagon which has allowed her to participate in her favorite past-time, meeting new people….When she does take the time to stop, she spends her time with a very handsome man that goes by the name of Zorro. He can be seen sleeping on the couch, bed, bathing in the sunlight on a window ledge or anywhere else that he deems comfortable. Zorro of course, is her cat.
Vickie McDonough is an award-winning inspirational romance author. She has written four Heartsong novels and five novellas. Her stories have placed first in several prestigious contests, such as the ACFW Noble Theme, the Inspirational Readers Choice Contest, and the Texas Gold contest. She has also written books reviews for nearly five years and enjoys mentoring new writers. Vickie is a wife of thirty-one years, mother to four sons, and a new grandma. a lawyer, wife and mother of three young daughters and lives in Melbourne, Australia.
Reading has been her passion since childhood. She is a Book Club Co-ordinator

Sheryl Root is
a voracious reader and aspiring author who started writing book reviews to ease
her guilt about all the time she spends reading. In addition to this
purely selfish reason for reviewing, she loves to be able to support Christian
authors and spread the word on great books. She is a member of American
Christian
Fiction Writers, a wonderful community of published and yet to be published writers,
where she learns an amazing amount of practical wisdom to help in her writing

Cheryl Russell lives in the Midwest with her husband and three children. Her
short stories, as well as a few articles, have been published in print and online.
She's loved to read for as long as she can remember and puts all that time to

Sondova is a writer specializing in media writing, including interviews and reviews,

Well, an illustrator and instructor, sold her first illustrations at thirteen,
and became fascinated with the creation of comics at sixteen after her first
visit to Marvel Comics. In 1987, she began working in the industry in retail

Heather West is a sophomore English and Communications major, who firmly believes
in the concept of the Renaissance man (or woman, in her case). In that vein,
her interests include everything from piano, Broadway, and gospel choir to snowboarding,
missionary work, and filmmaking. Her writing is inspired by her reading; her
favorite authors are Brian Jacques, Bill Myers, Timothy Zahn, G.K. Chesterton,
