Songs 4 Ever : The Ultimate
Time Life 10 CD Christian Music Collection

"...a great compilation... and would make a great gift for those of you who want to introduce someone to Christian music."
By “ultimate” Time Life Music means ten full length CDs spanning the last thirty years in Christian music. Nestled in a colorful glossy box, each album is shrink wrapped. Endorsed by Michael W. Smith, who has made an infomercial with Nicole Johnson promoting the collection, it’s 150 songs from all inspirational genres: contemporary, classic, worship, country, Gospel, pop, and rock.
Each CD has a different theme. Imagine features old favorites like “El Shaddai” (Amy Grant) and “Flood” (Jars of Clay). Heaven remembers Jennifer Knapp, who has retired from Christian music, and Rich Mullins, who died in a car accident in 1997. Kirk Franklin’s “Stomp” and Jeremy Camp’s “I Still Believe” fit well in, believe it or not, Believe. Hope features Randy Travis singing his hit song “Three Wooden Crosses”. Twila Paris and Delirious make appearances on Worship. Perennial favorites “Jesus Freak” (D.C. Talk) and “I’m Not Ashamed” (Newsboys) are perfect for Forever. And on it goes with Shout, Alive, Love, and Power Ballads.
How many times has this happened to you - you’ve downloaded your favorite song, but you can’t sing along, because the lyrics aren’t included. Songs 4 Ever gives you a booklet with all the words to every song in this anthology. Finally, you can sing along to “Butterfly Kisses”!
Go figure - with a retail price of $119.96, that’s about 80 cents per song, a great value. Although the package is too soft to appeal to hard core rockers, or anyone looking for the latest hits, it’s still a great compilation and would make a great gift for those of you who want to introduce someone to Christian music.
