Flyleaf

Creation East Festival
Mt. Union, Pennsylvania
by Tracy & C.J. DarlingtonWe’d been standing for over an hour waiting for Flyleaf to take the stage, and when they finally did, we were stoked! Diving right into their set, Lacey and the guys rocked the house in true Flyleaf fashion. Bass player Pat Seals’ flying antics aptly portrayed the music—wild and powerful. He even climbed the stage scaffolding and jumped off at one point during the concert!
Belting out hits such as “Red Sam”, “Cassie”, “Perfect”, “All Around Me”, “I’m So Sick” and many others, Lacey was in top form. With the sun setting behind them, it was the “perfect” way to end the Creation Festival’s Fringe Stage events.
Unfortunately, there
was no encore, and the concert almost seemed to be cut short. Or maybe
it was just that time flies when you’re having
fun. Flyleaf’s set could’ve been twice as long and the crowd
would’ve been even happier!
